We are pleased to have received funding from the IBS to sponsor a limited number of postgraduate students from the Sub-Saharan African region to attend and present at the SUSAN-SSACAB 2019 conference. We invite interested students to send a copy of their submitted abstracts, proof of abstract submission, confirmation of university registration for the current academic year and a letter of motivation to Tarylee Reddy (tarylee.reddy@mrc.ac.za). The deadline for applications is 30 June 2019.
The International Biometric Society Awards Fund Committee has a program to assist IBS members from developing countries to attend conferences organized by their respective regions. The guidelines for awarding grants and the link to the application form are available on the IBS website. A written statement from the SUSAN-SSACAB 2019 conference organizers, confirming support of the application, can be obtained from Yusentha Balakrishna (Yusentha.Balakrishna@mrc.ac.za). Please note that all applications for funds should be submitted at least 90 days prior to the conference you wish to attend.
